Menekaunee Old Timer Picnic recognizes the past

MARINETTE — The 44th Menekaunee Old Timers Picnic took place Saturday at the enclosed pavilion at Red Arrow Park. Anyone age 50 or older with ties to Menekaunee was welcome — 114 people pre-registered and there were 17 walk-ins.

Cheerleaders who opened the event with the Menekaunee cheer were: Coordinator Sharon Brix Powilaites, Pat Mittag, Dennis Mullen, Judy Fischer Uecke, Sandy Thompson Williams, Jean Williams Davis, Ralph Christopherson, Judy Prudhomme Davidson and Barb VanHemelryk Scheffen. The cheer was followed with “God Bless America.”
